Also known as semi-permanent makeup, it is the process of inserting pigment into the skin through single use sterile set of needles to produce the appearance of full eyebrows by producing hair-like strokes in order to enhance the natural features of the face.
Unlike standard body tattooing, Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup that can partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair. A minimum of two visits are required to achieve desired results.
This technique can be used to improve or create eyebrow definition, cover gaps of lost hair, extend the eyebrows, or full reconstruction if the brows have little or no hair. Each stroke is applied individually, allowing the artist to complete control of the shape, color, and density of the completed eyebrows.
The color choice is patient-specific and mixed using a selection of micropigments to complement hair color and skin tone. The color will intentionally fade over time while still maintaining a natural look. The ingredients are a combination of pigments, glycerin, witch hazel, isopropyl alcohol, aqua, rosin, and DMDM hydantoin. Pigments are gamma-ray sterilized, vegan, and also cruelty-free.
A topical anesthetic is applied before and throughout the procedure. Pain tolerance will vary for each client and every effort is made to have the client feel as comfortable as possible.
Please be aware that having this service done during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort during the procedure.
If you are a frequent smoker, the topical anesthetic used will not last long.
If you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, be aware that this may affect your sensitivity as well.
No one under the age of 18 will receive services. No exceptions.

Cosmetic tattooing is considered semi-permanent, gently fading over time, and may need to be retouched every one to two years. For darker tones, color boost touch-ups are recommended every 1 1/2- 2 years. For lighter tones color boost touch-ups are recommended every 9-12 months.
Factors such as pigment color used (light colors fade faster), lifestyle (sun exposure, drinking & smoking) and if any chemical peels, laser treatment, etc are applied near the treated area, may affect the frequency of touch-ups needed.
Final results CAN NOT be guaranteed due to the fact that each skin type is unique, each skin type holds pigment differently and will heal at different rates.
Multiple sessions are normal for microblading and other cosmetic tattooing; each new procedure requires at least two visits. The second session may be booked as early as 6 weeks after the initial appointment. Both the first and second session is included in the initial price.
While every client heals differently, if the cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly after the first session, additional pigment may be added to enhance the overall shape & color.
Your semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo will appear more intense and darker than the final result for the first few days. The pigment will lighten up gradually during the healing process. Redness/swelling (if any) is expected and will go away within a day. Please refer to the AFTERCARE section for more information.
Healed results will vary with each individual client and using a pencil or powder may still be needed. We (myself and The Revenant Gallery) have no control over what occurs during the healing process. Absolutely NO guarantee will be made and additional sessions may be required to obtain optimal results. Additional charges will apply.
If you have had your eyebrows or areola previously tattooed and are interested in a cover-up/re-work, you MUST email a clear photo PRIOR to booking your appointment. We cannot guarantee results for cases such as these and we must approve that your existing results are workable. In some cases where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before we begin the cover-up/re-work. Previously tattooed areas as well as cover-ups will usually require additional appointments for best results and will be charged accordingly.
Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client will heal differently. Please refer to the FAQ section to see if the services we offer may be beneficial to you.

Thoroughly wash your hands before touching the tattooed area.
With a clean cotton swab apply a THIN layer of Aquaphor 2 times a day for up to 3 days.
No pools, spas, hot tubs, exercise, or sweating for at least two weeks.
1. For 1 hr post appointment, have clients blot their brows with a clean tissue to remove lymph. If the oozing dries on their brows, it’ll create massive scabs, and the brows will peel and flake like crazy!
2. Within a few hrs post appointment, have them wash their brows with the aftercare soap you provide. (You all know I use ink soap, and currently have started using aftersoap which is ink soaps pre made bottles! Soon to come to my site) Theyre going to:
A. Wash hands
B. Get TINY bit of soap and some water OUTSIDE OF SHOWER
C. Wash gently in direction of hair. It’s a LIGHT swipe, just to help remove excess oil, oozing etc.
D. RINSE THOROUGHLY. Cup their hands with water and rinse to make sure all soap is removed.
E. Pat dry with clean paper towel
F. Apply balm (TINY AMOUNT, NOT GOOPY)
3. Wash morning and night for 10 days
4. Apply balm morning and night for 10 days (if you use my balm they will have enough left over for touchup if they’re using it correctly. RICE GRAIN amount will cover BOTH brows. NOT rice grain on each.
5. No getting them wet other than washing OUTSIDE of shower. This includes shower, sweating, sauna, hot tub, ETC.
6. No direct sunlight for 2 weeks
7. NO MAKEUP. LOTION. FACE WASH. SERUMS. SHAMPOO. CONDITIONER Etc can touch them for two whole weeks. After that, avoid all products on them that include active ingredients (acne or anti aging products)
8. NO picking or scratching at scabs. DO NOT sleep on face!
Immediately after the procedure, the tattooed area will appear dark and more sharply defined. This will happen for the first few days following the first visit.
Swelling and redness is minimal on most clients and will typically disappear within 24-48 hours.
The complete healing process takes about 4-6 weeks, at which time the true color of the tattoo is evident. During this process, your tattoo will soften and lighten. If you think too much color has been lost be patient as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating.
Pigment will resurface as the healing skin regenerates. Results are visible after 4 weeks.
Exposure to the sun over time may cause discoloration and fading of the pigment. Once completely healed, you may apply sunscreen on the treated area. Rinse and dry area if comes into contact with chlorine.
Glycolic acid, microdermabrasion, and chemical face peel products must be kept away from the tattooed area as continued use may lighten the pigment. If you are having laser resurfacing or laser hair removal after your tattoo has healed, please inform the laser technician. Continue at your own discretion. Laser procedures may darken, lighten, or discolor the tattooed area.
Once the treated area is completely healed, any changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your follow up visit no sooner than 6 weeks following. The majority of our clients’ cosmetic tattoos stay true to color and lighten naturally over time. There are some cases, however, where colors may fade to different tones according to the individual’s response to the pigments (like lifestyle and iron deficiencies). Many factors affect these changes. At your next appointment, I will re-analyze how your body has responded to the initial color. Your eyebrow tattoo will eventually look softer and have more of a “powdered” look. This happens with all clients as the skin ages. To keep your hair strokes looking good, a refresher appointment is suggested every 1 to 2 years. Results vary with each client.
There are no implied or written guarantees if you do not take proper care of your cosmetic tattoo. This is a LOW maintenance service and proper aftercare should be practiced.
